SASKA GRAVILLE

hit We already knew our cover boy Guy Sebastian was a man of style, but while interviewing him music editor Christine Sams overheard his mobile phone ringtone the Verve's Bittersweet Symphony . What a discerning boy.

miss Talking of all things Idol, fans need to impose a TV and radio ban on January 2 if they don't want to ruin the results of World Idol. The winner will be announced in the UK on January 1, and on Network Ten in Australia on January 2 at 7.30pm. So keep away from TV, radio and newspapers that day!

hit Shopping addicts should subscribe immediately to the new email service the FiFi Report. The brainchild of Sydney stylist Fiona Milne, the report lists the best style buys around including, this week, a fab frock from Events and designer knock-off bags in Witchery. Milne has perfect taste so if she rates something, it's a must-buy. Contact fifi@fifi.com.au for details.

miss A big ``oops" to the editors of Empire magazine who have labelled their Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King special in their January issue as The Two Towers. Um, that'll be the previous film, not this one. Obsessive Tolkien fans will not be amused.

hit Having just been swept off to Wellington for the Lord Of The Rings premiere and cast interviews, this scribe can safely say that it's by far the best of the trilogy. But forget Viggo Mortensen and Orlando Bloom as pin-ups Andy Serkis (Gollum) was voted heart-throb of the trip by the female journalists!

miss The revamped Bourbon in Kings Cross has only been open a few weeks and already the bouncers are earning themselves a reputation for being prize idiots. Guys, a year ago you were lucky to get anyone decent through the door so what's with the major attitude? Get over yourselves.

hit Don't let the bullies at the Bourbon put you off a night in the Cross. Head around the corner to Baron's in Roslyn Street. It may not boast a flash makeover, but it's got the best jukebox in the eastern suburbs.
